Under the name of Gizelle Designs, Virginia exhibits at some of New Jersey's most prestigious juried shows and galleries. Her work includes pieces incorporating Chinese turquoise, African trade beads, Tibetan silver, Afghan lapis, Chinese cloisonne and exquisitely ornate Bali silver and gold beads. She continually searches for the most beautiful beads, and combines their color, intricate forms, and the highest quality accents and clasps to make pieces which can treasured, and handed down for other generations to enjoy.

Trained in silvermithing and design, she began with objects found on nearby beaches, especially sea glass, worn and shaped by sea and sand, but combined with sterling silver mountings to achieve a high level of sophistication. Sea glass necklaces are a consistent favorite with her clients and remian one of her personal favorites.

She notes that "I would not make anything that I would not absolutely love to wear. My personal collection contains pieces with my favorite elements: sea glass, turquoise, lapis, carnelian chrysocolla, and sparkling delicate Swarovski crystals. I find deep joy and satisfaction in creating beautiful objects, with each piece unique. The enjoyment of knowing that people who buy my pieces truly love them, receive compliments when they wear my designs and return to each show to buy more, both for themselves and as gifts for others - this is most rewarding for me."
